Affiliate disclosure
Right now, no affiliate link is set up for any brand, so the buttons on this site go straight to the brands' own sites and currently earn us nothing. This page explains what will change the day a commission link goes live — and what will not change.
That is the whole arrangement, and it is stated at the top of every page. A disclosure you have to hunt for does not work.
What a commission does not do
- It does not change the price you pay. The brand pays the commission, not you.
- It does not change the order of the comparison. Brands are listed by what makes sense as a starting point. Cheapest sensible option first. Not by what they pay.
- It does not buy a recommendation. A brand that stops supporting its products leaves this site, commission or no commission, as Lexie and Eargo did in 2026.
- It does not make us a seller. We do not sell hearing aids, take orders, or handle returns. Clicking a link takes you to the brand's own website, where its terms on trial, warranty, and returns are the ones that count.
What is still true, even with disclosure
A commission is still a financial interest, and you should read this site with that in mind. If a claim here ever feels like it exists to sell you something rather than to inform you, that is a reason to check it against the brand's own page and against an independent reviewer, not a reason to trust it more because it disclosed the interest.
Disclosure is a starting point, not a seal of approval.
If a commission link is ever set up, it will be on the “Check current price” buttons throughout the site. They are wired through a single configuration file, so no link ever breaks if an affiliate program changes. It falls back to the brand's plain website. At the time of this draft, no affiliate links have been added yet; the buttons currently go to the brands' plain websites.
This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines: a material connection between an endorser and a brand must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed, in plain language, near the endorsement. That is what the strip at the top of every page is for.
This site is education, not medical advice. It does not diagnose hearing loss and it does not replace a hearing test by a professional. If your hearing changed suddenly, changed in one ear only, or changed along with pain, drainage, or dizziness, see a doctor promptly. Do not shop for hearing aids first.
