Jabra Enhance, M Series

Price band: $$. Roughly $600 to $2,000 a pair, depending on the model. Check the brand's own page for the current price.

Do not buy the old models by mistake. In August 2026 Jabra replaced its entire over-the-counter line with the M Series: M1, M2, and M3. The Select 50R, 300, and 700 are the outgoing models. If a listing still says Select 700, it is the old model, not the current one. This page is about the M Series only.

The care model is the reason it costs more than the budget brands.

Jabra Enhance comes from GN, the company behind ReSound.

You fit the aids yourself, either through a test in the app or by uploading an audiogram, and licensed specialists can adjust them remotely afterward.

For someone who wants a guide without booking clinic visits, who is tired of guessing in noisy rooms, that is a different way of being looked after.

It is also the right question to ask before paying more: do you want someone in the loop, or do you want the cheapest aid that works?

What it does well

  • Remote care from licensed specialists, including follow-up adjustments. The strongest support model on this site.
  • Self-fitting by app test or audiogram upload, so the fitting starts from your hearing.
  • Discreet receiver-in-canal design, rechargeable, with Bluetooth for calls and streaming on the current models.
  • A clear three-model range (M1, M2, M3), so the step up from one model to the next is about features and noise handling, not guesswork.

Where it falls short

  • Price. This is the most expensive brand on this site, and the gap from the budget brands is not small.
  • The M Series is new. It launched in August 2026, so its long, independent track record is still being built, unlike the older Select line it replaced.
  • It assumes comfort with a smartphone and an app. If that is not you, the care model that justifies the price will not feel like care at all.
  • Still an over-the-counter aid: mild to moderate loss only. It does not turn into a prescription fitting because you paid more.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

It suits someone who wants a specialist in the loop, who is comfortable with an app, and who spends time in noisy rooms where better noise handling earns its keep. It suits less well if the budget is tight, if a phone-first experience matters more than an app-first one, or if you want the longest proven track record for the exact model you are buying.

In that case, waiting for more independent reporting on the M Series, or starting cheaper with MDHearing or Audien, is a reasonable choice. There is nothing embarrassing about starting cheaper and learning what you actually need.

Before you buy, check three things

  1. That the model says M1, M2, or M3. Anything else is the old line.
  2. Trial, warranty, and support length, on Jabra's own page. These are the terms that make the higher price defensible, so read them as terms, not as marketing.
  3. Phone compatibility. Streaming and app features depend on your phone. Confirm yours is supported before you order, not after the box arrives.

This site is education, not medical advice. It does not diagnose hearing loss and it does not replace a hearing test by a professional. If your hearing changed suddenly, changed in one ear only, or changed along with pain, drainage, or dizziness, see a doctor promptly. Do not shop for hearing aids first.

What to do next

If you have not taken the hearing check yet, do that first. It takes two minutes and it will tell you whether this brand fits your result and your budget, or whether a cheaper or better-supported pick fits better.
